Holidays

Some festivals are organized in the village,

both off-season and in summer

Saint Anthony's Day, June 13

Date of the end of the winter transhumance.

With the high mass as well as the procession, an old secular tradition has been brought up to date: On the occasion of Saint Antoine, a veal on the spit (Corsican veal) is prepared and served to all the participants as well as an aperitif offered by the merchants.

This tradition has its roots in the time when in turn the breeders offered for St Antoine an animal so that a meal would be served to the faithful.

To recognize this beast (which was respected by all and could graze on all lands) a particular sign was affixed to the animal's ears on All Saints' Day.

This beast was called "Mozza à i santi".

For a few years now, thanks to Lucien Colonna, a breeder and keeper of traditions, a calf has been "Mozza à i santi" and offered on June 13, the feast of our Patron Saint ...

The Christmas Mass and the Great Fire

Although few in number, on December 25 there are still a few people who maintain this tradition where a drink is served after mass around the big fire in the village square.

The Christmas mass brings together the inhabitants of the village...

The summer party

At the beginning of August, a party is organized which brings together all the people of the village. Children's games are organized in the morning...

In addition, the shops in the village organize festive evenings throughout the summer.

A ball animates the evening of early August...
